My condolences to all families I'm so angry how many go unsolved and nothing done to help families the same happened in my home town gawler SA Rose Turner found dead at home 15/10/21 after someone assaulted her not long before was in news one night the person who assulted her who happens to live behind me has only been charged for assault but now it's just mysterious death and police doing nothing there's no updates they've done nothing to give rose's young daughter information on her mother I'm so angry about all this they deserve peace families deserve answers
How tenderly addressed, Amy. Can you not get this listed - this essay - for an appearance by you on The Drum with Ellen Fanning or Julia Baird? Apart from the discomfort caused when they include rightwing politicians - and ideologues of that persuasion - they mostly have compassionate "experts" on their panel prepared to go a little deeper into the darknesses of our society. These three stories and every other story like this diminish us all - your articulate expression of it is very important. I am just now reading the latest book from US historian Roxanne Dunbar-Ortiz Not a Nation of Immigrants. (Her 2014 book was An Indigenous Peoples' History of the US.) Brilliant analysis of the underpinnings of colonialism and the uncomfortable laws upon which they built their nation - with many parallels for other nations but particularly for Australia... Jim
